About San Pablo Reservoir
San Pablo Dam has 866 surface acres and 14 miles of shoreline which offers anglers their choice of fishing from boats, both private or rentals, or from shore. Amenities at San Pablo include a well stocked bait & tackle shop, fish cleaning stations, a handicap fishing dock, an 8 lane launch ramp, a variety of boat rentals, picnic grounds, and a children's play area. This EBMUD reservoir is a drinking water supply and therefore no swimming is allowed.
A note about fish plants at San Pablo Reservoir:
You may have seen the reports about the Department of Fish & Game ceasing fish plant in lakes and reservoirs throughout California, including San Pablo. While this is the case, please note that trout and catfish will continue to be planted from Mt. Lassen and Bundy's Catfish.
