Interpretive Center
The Los Vaqueros Interpretive Center features special programs, interactive displays, live animal exhibits, and staff naturalists. These resources are in place to help develop a greater understanding of the story of Los Vaqueros.
By examining many of the cultural and ecological aspects of the watershed in a fun and engaging way, both adults and kids will better understand its history and its future.
The Interpretive Center is open Friday through Sunday from 9 am to 4 pm and is located on the North side of the watershed next to the dam.
For more information, please click here. School groups, boy scouts, and other organizations can contact Contra Costa Water District to discuss the arrangement of special presentations by calling (925) 688-8307.
