Join us at Lake Camanche for a fun day of fishing, tri-tip BBQ, and awesome prizes. We'll be giving away hundreds of dollars in prize money for the top fish caught, and you'll also have a chance at catching A Tagged Fish Worth $10,000.00! 10 Tagged Fish: one worth $10,000 and nine others worth different prizes (list coming soon).
5 raffle tickets are provided with entry ticket. Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase on the event date for $5 each. All proceeds from those sales will benefit the Ed Waldo Children's Fund. Tri-tip lunch is included with ticket price. Lunch only tickets may be purchased on the day of the event.

Derby Rules
- Derby begins on October 30, 2010 at 7:00 am.
- Final derby weigh in will take place on October 30, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the South Shore store.
- Tagged fish must be caught on October 30, 2010 between the hours of 7:00 am and 1:00 pm to be eligible for prizes.
- Once a tagged fish is caught and submitted, tag will be checked via Odds On Promotion’s Interactive Phone Verification System to determine if it is the tag corresponding to the $10,000 prize.
- An angler claiming the $10,000 prize may be asked to undergo and submit proof of a polygraph examination by Odds on Promotions.
- Anglers claiming the $10,000 prize may have their names and photographs used in promotional efforts by Odds on Promotions without further notice or compensation.
- Anglers claiming the $10,000 prize must complete a “Submission Affidavit”.
- All fish eligible for any prize must be caught between the hours of 7:00 am and 1:00 pm on October 30, 2010.
- Raffle prizes will be announced starting at 2:00 pm on October 30, 2010.
- Five raffle tickets will be provided with each ticket sale. Additional raffle tickets may be purchased for $5 each. All the proceeds from purchased raffle tickets will benefit a local charity (this will be made public on the day of the event).
- One complimentary raffle ticket will be provided to any member of the public upon request.
- Participants will be required to sign their entry ticket and provide photo ID at time of purchase. Each ticket qualifies only the individual who has signed it to participate in the derby.
- First, second, third, and biggest stringer prizes will be determined by the weight of the fish. Ties between two people will be broken by a coin flip. Ties between more than two people will be broken with a drawing.
- California Parks Company employees are not eligible for this event.
- A participant is eligible for either the largest stringer, first, second, or third place prize (ie, cannot win largest stringer AND first place). There is no limit to the number of tagged fish a participant may catch.
- Tagged fish must be presented by the final weigh in (1:00 pm) with the tag intact and still in the fish to be eligible for prizes.
- Anyone age 16 or older must possess a valid a California State Fishing License and Daily Fishing Access Permit.
- All fish must be caught in the main lake at Lake Camanche. Fish caught in the trout pond are not eligible for prizes.
- All weigh-ins are final and are based on the Camanche Recreation Company’s scale.
- Camanche Recreation Company employees make decisions on weight and fish eligibility.
- Decisions of Camanche Recreation Company employees are final.
- Camanche Recreation Company employees reserve the right to clean any fish entered in the derby. All fish entered in the derby may be subject to having their tail punched at weigh-in.
- Fish must be caught according to Federal and State Fish & Game laws.
- Tagged fish must be caught using conventional rod and reel and the fish must be caught and played by one person only. Fish that are shot, harpooned, gigged, caught on electric reels or in any other unsportsmanlike manner shall be ineligible.
