Lake Camanche is planting trout from now until Spring. Each week between 1,800 to 3,000 pounds of Mt. Lassen Rainbow Trout are planted at both lake shores as well as the South Shore Trout Pond, the perfect place to fish with children. 5% of each plant is guaranteed to be trophy size, meaning that the trout are at least 3 to 8 pounds in weight. Check out the Lake Camanche Facebook Page to find out how much fish is planted each week. You can also watch videos of the plant, see pictures, or read fish stories!
